How to Get Free Supplies From Your Vendors

how-to-get-free-supplies-from-your-vendors Have you ever wondered why advertisers prefer a younger audience over older people? The reason is very simple. As people age, they often become set in their ways and will typically buy the same products over and over. They believe that they have found the best of what they need and are no longer interested in “exploring” for new products. This same concept can be applied to the screen printing industry.

If you are a new printer or a person who is not completely set in their ways, the likelihood that you are willing to try new products is reasonably high. As a result, screen printing companies would like you to try their products in the hope that you would become a long term repeat customer of the products that they sell.  This is where “sampling” comes in…

Before you lay out $75 (or more) for that next gallon of white ink or bucket of emulsion, ask your screen printing supplies vendor if you can try a free sample. Most vendors will happily send you a small sample of ink, emulsion, etc., in the hope that you will like it and start buying from them on a regular basis. This “sampling” arrangement  benefits both you and the vendor as well.

Manufacturers have a vested interest in pushing their products through their vendors so they can increase their sales.  And of course your screen printing supplies vendor would love to have you as a long term customer.

Once you find products that you like from the vendors who have provided you samples, we strongly encourage you to purchase those goods from them. If you play fair and buy goods from vendors who send you samples, they will most likely be happy to send you samples to test out additional products in the future.
